Guardini Gardenia 22cm

The Guardini Gardenia round baking tin is designed for making cake sponges. It's made from Hi-Top steel, which provides extra strength and is resistant to warping. The double-layer non-stick surface allows for baking with less fat and makes it easy to turn out the finished sponge. The tin can withstand temperatures of up to 230°C and, with a 24cm diameter, is ideal for classic cakes.

Sturdy steel construction

The tin is based on Hi-Top steel, which gives it the necessary strength. The 0.29mm thick material resists warping well, even with frequent use and high temperatures. This ensures the tin retains its shape, which is important for consistent baking results. The sturdy construction contributes to even heat distribution, helping to bake the sponge perfectly without burnt edges or a raw centre.

Double-layer non-stick surface

The inside is coated with a double-layer non-stick surface that prevents the batter from sticking. This means you can bake with a minimal amount of fat, which is great for preparing healthier desserts. The surface is applied using COIL COATING technology for a homogeneous distribution of the layer across the entire area. This not only makes the baking process easier but, most importantly, simplifies turning out the finished sponge without damaging it.

Use and proper care

The tin is designed for oven baking up to a maximum temperature of 230°C. Its non-stick properties make it easier to work with batter and to clean afterwards. To maintain the functionality of the non-stick surface, hand washing with a soft sponge and standard washing-up liquid is recommended. The manufacturer does not recommend washing it in a dishwasher, as aggressive detergents and high temperatures could damage the non-stick layer.
