HAMA Safe X100CD

The Hama Safe X100CD shredder is a great tool for securely disposing of documents at home or in a small office. With its cross-cut mechanism and P-4 security level, it turns paper and plastic cards into small particles, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. It can shred up to 10 sheets of paper at once and also handles staples, paper clips, and even CDs and DVDs, which have a separate slot. The 15L bin provides ample capacity for everyday use.

Security and multi-material shredding

The shredder uses a cross-cut mechanism to slice paper documents and plastic cards into tiny particles. This disposal method corresponds to the P-4 security level, making it suitable for protecting personal data in compliance with GDPR. In addition to paper, the device can also handle paper clips. A separate slot is provided for destroying data carriers such as CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs, and bank cards. These materials are cut into 30mm strips and collected in a separate container.

Automatic operation and safety features

Operation is made easy with the automatic start/stop function—shredding begins when paper is inserted and stops automatically when finished. If a paper jam occurs, you'll appreciate the reverse function for easy release. The device is protected by an overheating and overload safety feature that automatically shuts it off. The shredder is designed for 2 minutes of continuous operation, followed by a 30-minute cool-down period. The removable 15L collection bin is easy to empty.
