HAMA Safe X50

The Hama Safe X50 shredder is designed for the secure disposal of documents. Thanks to its cross-cut mechanism and P-4 security level, it meets GDPR requirements for personal data protection. The device handles not only paper, but also plastic cards and documents held together with staples. The shredded material is collected in a removable 11L bin, making it easy to empty.

Secure document disposal

The shredder uses a cross-cut method, which turns documents into small 4×39mm particles. This disposal method corresponds to security level P-4 and is suitable for shredding sensitive personal and company data in accordance with GDPR. The steel blades have no problem handling not only paper but also staples. This means you don't have to remove them from documents before shredding.

Convenient and safe operation

Operation is made easy by the automatic start/stop function, which starts shredding when paper is inserted and stops automatically when finished. In case of a paper jam, the device is equipped with a reverse function. Operational safety is ensured by an automatic cut-out for overheating and overloading, as well as a mechanism that prevents it from starting unless the shredder head is correctly placed on the bin. The removable 11L bin makes waste disposal simple.

To ensure a long motor life, follow the operating cycle. After 2 minutes of continuous shredding, let the device cool down for 30 minutes.
