What is Nitro?
- Nitro effect. We chose the name “Nitro” because we add a drop of liquid nitrogen, which creates a beautiful cascade when poured into a glass.
- Cold brew. Nitro is a cold brew drink – it is prepared using a cold-steeping methour This process ensures an intense, balanced flavour and preserves valuable substances such as antioxidants and lipids.
- A strong dose of caffeine. Up to 180mg in a single can! That’s almost three times more than in conventional energy drinks. The caffeine in Nitro comes exclusively from coffee beans – making it a real and healthy source of energy.
- The Nitro effect. A drop of liquid nitrogen in every can creates a fascinating cascade effect and gives the drink a creamy texture. That’s the real Nitro effect!
- Vegan. All our drinks are vegan – good for you and the planet. We prepare our classic milk varieties using oat drink.
- 100% natural ingredients. Nitro contains only purely natural ingredients. We do not use any artificial additives in our wide range of recipes.
How is Nitro Made?
- The production process starts on the coffee farm – it’s where we select the highest quality beans and buy them directly from the producers using a direct trade model.
- We then roast the coffee with the utmost care.
- The roasting profile is developed specifically for the cold extraction method and individually adapted to each type of coffee.
- We prepare the cold brew using our patented Hardtank technology. This allows us to achieve a higher caffeine content and a more complex flavour, and to extract more valuable nutrients from the coffee beans than with conventional cold brew or hot coffee preparation.
- It’s not magic, it’s science – our recipes are created in the lab and every batch of product undergoes thorough testing before it reaches our customers.
