The Thermoval Baby infrared digital thermometer is specially designed for convenient, contactless temperature measurement in children . How to proceed with non-contact temperature measurement with HARTMANN Thermoval Baby?
When measuring objects, make sure that the thermometer is in the same room for at least 30 minutes before the measurement. Proceed in the same way when measuring air temperature, pointing the thermometer freely into the space. Before first use, please pay attention to the instructions for use.
- The ambient air temperature must be between +15°C and +40°C before starting the measurement.
- Remove sweat, cosmetics, dirt and hair from your forehead.
- Verify that the mode switch is in the desired position (when measuring temperature, it is the head symbol, select the house symbol when measuring objects or ambient temperature).
- Start the device by pressing the (O/I) button.
- Point the thermometer over the center of the forehead area, 3 to 5 cm from the skin. Start the measurement by briefly pressing the SCAN button. When measuring, slowly move the thermometer from the center of the forehead to the level of the temples.
- After 3 seconds, the navigation light will turn off. You can move the device away from your forehead, the measurement is over.
