The digital medical thermometer in blue uses innovative, infrared radiation to measure temperature. You can measure the temperature without contact, just point the thermometer correctly. In addition to measuring body temperature, you can also use the device to measure the temperature of surrounding objects. The thermometer provides internal memory for up to 10 measurements.

How to proceed with the contactless measurement with HARTMANN Veroval baby?
1. Ensure that the ambient temperature is between +15 °C and +40 °C.
2. Remove hair, sweat, beauty products or dirt from forehead before use.
3. Make sure that the mode switch is set in the correct position (head symbol for measuring body temperature, house symbol for measuring object or ambient temperature).
4. Press the (O/I) button to switch on the thermometer.
5. Place the thermometer over the centre of the forehead so that it is about 3-5 cm from the skin. Press the SCAN button to start the measurement. When measuring, move the instrument from the middle to the ends of the forehead.
6. After 3 seconds, the navigation light will go out. Now you can move the thermometer away from the forehead. Temperature readings are complete.
When measuring the temperature of surrounding objects, first make sure the thermometer has been in the same room for at least 30 minutes. Do you measure the ambient air temperature? In this case, pick up the thermometer and aim freely into the space.
