Routin 1883 syrups began to be produced in 1883, when herbalist Philibert Routin mixed 24 plants and spices from the French Alps and began the story of syrups. They are great for cocktails, milkshakes, coffee, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and are sweetened with cane sugar. Routin 1883 hazelnut syrup offers the full colour and flavour of roasted hazelnut and is particularly suitable for use in coffee and hot chocolate, but can also be used to flavour milkshakes, pancakes or desserts.
