This GPS locator is a compact device for carefully monitoring cars, luggage and other valuable items. The HELMER LK 551 combines GPS localisation with a GSM/GPRS/LTE mobile connection, and lets you find its current location via SMS or conveniently online on a map through a web interface or mobile app. You can view its movement history just as easily. The device has a built-in strong magnet, so you can discreetly attach it to a metal surface. The online service itself is completely free for this locator – you only pay for the mobile data used by the SIM card. Data consumption is approximately 30MB per month. The LK 551 4G supports alerts for external power disconnection. The device supports remote vehicle shutdown* via SMS, or you can set it to shut down after the speed drops below 20km/h. You can then restore the fuel pump and ignition operation with the appropriate SMS command. The locator is also equipped with an SOS button to quickly call for help.
*When the locator is correctly connected to the vehicle's electrical system using the supplied cable harness and relay.

Reliable connection, long battery life and car security
The locator is equipped with a 10000mAh Li-Ion battery, which provides up to 180 days of operation in power-saving mode. With constant online tracking, it lasts up to 30 days, and in Smart mode, its battery life reaches up to 50 days. The operating time can vary depending on signal quality and the frequency of location determination and transmission. The integrated GPS module offers a declared location accuracy of approximately 5 metres and a sensitivity of -165dBm. The HELMER LK 551 4G supports both 4G LTE and 2G mobile networks, which expands its range of use. After calling the phone number of the SIM card inserted in the locator, the device will end the call and send an SMS with GPS coordinates and a link to Google Maps. The message will include information such as speed, time and battery status. The HELMER LK 551 4G alerts you to movement, shocks and speeding. You can also set a Geo-fence through the app. As soon as the locator leaves this zone, you will immediately receive a message. The built-in shock sensor with adjustable sensitivity can alert you to detected vibrations. The supplied accessories also include a cable harness and relay, which lets you connect the GPS locator directly to the vehicle's electrical system. This gives you the option to remotely stop the car, or set the vehicle to stop after its speed drops below 20km/h. A simple SMS command can then restart the fuel pump.
Integrated microphone with listening mode
The HELMER LK 551 4G is equipped with a built-in microphone that lets you listen to the locator's surroundings. Simply call the device and you will hear sounds in the immediate vicinity. Through the web interface or mobile app, you can track the location, play back the route history, manage the GPS locator, set operating modes, alarms, or set up a virtual boundary (geo-fence). The mobile app is available for Android and iOS, and the same login details apply for both the web and the app.
