HemaGel 100 g II

HemaGel 100 g II
HemaGel 100 g II
Hydrophilic gel for the treatment of superficial skin injuries.
Why use HemaGel® to treat wounds?
Chemically binds oxygen radicals that are produced during the wound healing process.
It covers the wound from secondary infection from outside.
It forms a flexible mechanical protective layer on the wound.
It creates a suitable environment for granulation, including a reduction in secretion.
How to proceed when using the gel
Clean the wound of mechanical debris, e.g. dust particles, residues of previous treatment materials that could accumulate and damage the wound.
Spread a thin layer of gel (approx. 1 mm) over the entire area of the lower wound, slightly overlapping the healthy skin. The gel adheres to the base of the wound and gradually absorbs secretions and other fluids from the wound.
Cover the wound with a non-absorbent material (e.g. with greasy tulle available at the pharmacy) and then fix with a bandage or gauze square and a plaster. After applying the gel, cover minor injuries with a pad.
The effect of the gel is manifested by swelling. The unique technology of the gel prevents sticking to the wound and thus allows very easy removal without pain by gentle wiping or rinsing.
Dressing should be performed as needed after 12-48 hours, always according to the condition of the wound and the leakage of secondary coverage or the instructions of the attending.
