Hemagel New 100 g
Hemagel New 100 g
Hydrophilic gel for the treatment of superficial skin injuries such as abrasions, burns, cuts and minor injuries. Hemagel is developed by the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry of the CAS.
Dosage and method of use
Dosing:
Using the gel:
- clean the wound of mechanical debris, e.g. dust particles, residues of previous treatment materials that could subsequently irritate and damage the wound.
- Spread a thin layer of gel (1mm) over the entire area of the wound base with a slight overlap onto healthy skin. The gel adheres to the spodinurans and gradually absorbs secretions and other fluids from the wound.
- cover the wound with a non-absorbent material (e.g. with greasy tulle) and then fix with a bandage or gauze square and a plaster. After applying the gel, cover minor injuries with a pillow patch.
- dressing should be performed as needed after 12-48 hours, always according to the condition of the wound and the leakage of secondary coverage or the instructions of the attending.
Use:
Why use HemaGel to treat wounds?
- forms a flexible mechanical protective layer on the wound
- creates a suitable environment for granulation, including reduction of secretion
