Hirudoid forte cream 40 g

Hirudoid forte is a medicine that suppresses swelling and inflammation and stimulates the dissolution of blood clots. Hirudoid forte is used for local treatment:
- blunt force trauma with or without blood spurt
- superficial venous inflammation, if compression therapy is not possible (whereby blood flow through the venous system of the lower limbs is improved by mechanical compression of the veins, e.g. using elastic bandages or compression elastic stockings). For superficial inflammation of the veins, the preparation is used only on the recommendation of a doctor.

💊 Use

Recommended dosage:
Generally, Hirudoid forte is applied to the affected area 2-3 times a day. Depending on the size of the area to be treated, it is usually enough to apply a strip of cream about 3-5 cm long.
Apply the product only on intact skin, it must not come into contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Apply Hirudoid forte evenly to the affected area and gently massage (if possible) into the skin. In case of painful superficial inflammation of the veins, apply Hirudoid forte gently and carefully to the affected area and then cover the treated area with a bandage. In these cases, do not rub the cream into the skin or massage the skin.
Duration of treatment:
In the treatment of blunt force trauma, the duration of treatment is usually up to 10 days, in superficial venous inflammation usually 1-2 weeks. The duration of use of the medicine in superficial venous inflammation is always decided by the doctor.
If your symptoms persist or do not improve within 10 days of regular treatment, consult your doctor.

🍃 Ingredients

The active substance is: glycosaminoglycans polysulfas from bovine trachea (trachea) 100 g of cream contains 445 mg glycosaminoglycans polysulfas from bovine trachea, equivalent to 40000 U.
* * units determined by activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT)
Other components are: Bentonite, emulsifying glycerol monodistearate, isopropyl myristate, imidourea, phenoxyethanol, isopropyl alcohol, myristyl alcohol, medium saturated triacylglycerols, purified water, rosemary essential oil.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you think, that you might be pregnant, or you're planning to get pregnant, check with your doctor or pharmacist first, before using this product. No adverse effects on unborn and breastfed infants have been reported to date with topical use of glycosaminoglycan polysulphate by pregnant and lactating women.

Read the package leaflet carefully before taking the medicine. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Keep out of reach of children. In case of side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

📦 Storage

Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the tube and box after EXP. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C. Use within 12 months after first opening.
