The ACI insulating tape is used for repairs and sealing in a wide range of applications from cars and motorbikes to boats and the home. Self-fusing properties for a strong seal
The tape is made from polyisobutylene and has self-fusing properties. When applying, it needs to be stretched to activate the amalgamation process, which bonds the individual layers into a single mass. Thanks to the tape stretching up to 300%, you can wrap even irregular shapes. The resulting seal is watertight, airtight and provides electrical insulation, which you will appreciate when making repairs in your car, on a boat, or in electrical work.
