Aquarius Filter Beads 0,7 kg

The Aquarius filter beads effectively capture impurities as small as 1.5 micrometers. They can thus eliminate much smaller dirt than sand. They are made of high quality polyethylene and have a diameter of 50 mm. Aquarius filter beads are placed in the same chamber as the sand or cartridge. A 700 g pack is equivalent to approximately 25 kg of sand.

Use:
Before using the beads for the first time, thoroughly clean the filter of any sand residue. Place the beads in the same chamber as the sand or cartridge. With 2-chamber filters, care must be taken not to place the beads in the clean water section. For maintenance, remove the beads from the filter and rinse in a bucket of water. For a more thorough cleaning, the balls should be washed in a washing machine at 30 °C, but without washing powder.
