Optimal pH value
The ideal pH value of the water in a hot tub or swimming pool varies depending on the disinfectant used. For chlorine disinfection, the pH value should be between 7.2 and 7.6. If you use oxygen (chlorine-free) chemistry, it is recommended to keep the pH between 7.0 and 7.4.
