Water-based acrylic varnish Balakryl SPORTAKRYL provides protective coatings for interior wooden surfaces. It is suitable for furniture, doors, window frames, panelling, windowsills, as well as cork, chipboard, and sports equipment. Once dry, it forms a matt and transparent film that preserves the natural structure of the wood. The water-soluble formula ensures the coating is odour-free, and once cured, the surface is fully washable. The varnish is ideal for both new and renovation coatings.

Application and technical specifications

Apply the varnish to a clean, dry surface using a brush, roller, or spray. To achieve optimum protection and a matt finish, we recommend applying three coats. A drying time of around four hours per coat ensures a smooth workflow. Theoretical coverage is 10m²/L per coat. Actual consumption depends on the absorbency and structure of the wood being treated, whether hard or soft.
