CERESIT CS 8 Universal Silicone
For all-purpose sealing and grouting work, both indoors and outdoors, the ideal choice is Ceresit CS 8 Universal acetoxy silicone, which creates highly flexible and durable joints. This single-component sealant effectively cures with airborne moisture and offers excellent resistance to adverse weather conditions and water. A key advantage is the new generation of cardboard cartridges with a self-opening system, allowing for immediate application without the tedious task of cutting the packaging tip. Thanks to its strong adhesion to a wide range of surfaces without the need for a primer, this permanently elastic silicone is a reliable solution for glass fillings, sanitary installations, and specific sealing applications in the automotive and marine industries.

Versatile Joint Sealing from Households to Transport
This acetoxy silicone is a multifunctional assistant for a whole range of assembly and repair applications. In addition to the classic installation of sanitary ceramics and sealing window or glass fillings in the home, it is perfectly suited for demanding outdoor applications such as sealing joints on ships, boats, caravans, or cars. The permanent elasticity of the material reliably absorbs vibrations and thermal expansion, thus preventing the formation of cracks and ensuring 100% impermeability of joints even in dynamically stressed environments.
Efficient Application Thanks to the Advanced Cardboard Cartridge
The new packaging design, made of sturdy cardboard with an aluminium barrier, revolutionises preparation speed and safety during work. To start sealing, simply flip open the green cap, screw on the supplied application tip, and insert the tube into a standard gun, where the inner foil will be punctured by mechanical pressure without the need to cut a plastic nozzle. This packaging effectively prevents premature hardening of the sealant during storage, and the practical resealable lid ensures that opened material remains fully usable for your future projects.
