Ceresit flexible cementitious tile adhesive CM 16 Pro flexible, 25 kg

CERESIT CM 16 Pro flexible cementitious tile adhesive is designed for bonding ceramic tiles, concrete slabs and natural stone not susceptible to staining. Its high adhesion is also suitable for critical substrates, like underfloor heating, staircase, balconies, anhydrite and gypsum substrates, OSB boards or existing tiles. CERESIT CM 16 Pro flexible cementitious tile adhesive is also recommended for use in areas with higher humidity and increased floor load, such as warehouses, shops, restaurants or shopping centres. In the case of bonding natural stone susceptible to discolouration, it is recommended to carry out a test to verify the suitability of the adhesive.

How to use:
1. Uneven surfaces or depressions should be levelled beforehand (see Ceresit products for floors and interior surfaces). Coatings with insufficient load-bearing capacity shall be removed. The gypsum/anhydrite or paint layers (do not chalk, good adhesion) must be mechanically roughened and dust-free.
2. Pour the contents of the package into a measured amount of clean cold water and mix with a drill until a homogeneous mass without lumps is formed. It is necessary to wait 5 minutes (ripening time) and then stir again. If necessary, carefully add water until you reach the desired consistency.
3. The adhesive is applied with a suitable trowel depending on the size of the tiles. For internal use, the mortar coverage (contact area) on the back of the tile must be at least 65%. For outdoor use, a minimum mortar coverage of 90% is required.
