Ceresit Polyurethane Adhesive CT 84 Express Plus

Ceresit CT 84 Express Plus is a 1-component low-expansion polyurethane adhesive used for fixing insulation boards in ETICS systems. It is designed for bonding insulation boards made of EPS foam polystyrene, extruded polystyrene XPS and mineral wool MW. It can be used for bonding insulation boards in new constructions as well as in renovations of existing buildings. Ceresit CT 84 Express Plus polyurethane adhesive is also suitable for bonding insulation boards to substrates, like wood, OSB fibreboard, Cement fibreboard, glass, ceramic bricks, concrete, Coated and galvanized steel, dry masonry, plasterboard and gypsum fibreboard applied at normal or low temperatures.

Ceresit CT 84 Express Plus polyurethane adhesive offers a yield of 10 m² and 15% higher bonding strength than conventional cementitious adhesives. It allows anchoring after only 2 hours, which speeds up insulation work. It can be applied at temperatures ranging from -10 to 40 °C even at high humidity. It has improved thermal insulation properties, which are similar to polystyrene foam or mineral wool. The adhesive is low-expansion and ideal for doubling ETICS on ETICS. Ceresit CT 84 Express Plus polyurethane adhesive can also be used for bonding window sills, filling gaps between EPS and XPS boards and for bonding EPS foam insulation boards.
