Ceresit Special Penetrating Coating CN 94, 10 kg

Ceresit CN 94 is a special penetrating coating designed for the treatment of absorbent and non-absorbent substrates prior to the application of levelling compounds, tile adhesives or waterproofing mastics. Its use hardens the substrate surface, reduces its water absorption and increases the adhesion of subsequent layers, which is crucial for the long-term durability and resistance of the final finishes. Ceresit CN 94 penetrating coating is suitable for interior and exterior applications on various types of substrates, including anhydrite and cement screeds, cast asphalts, particleboard and OSB, existing tiles, of cement, lime-cement and lime plasters, solid coatings, aerated concrete and gypsum substrates.

Ceresit CN 94 Penetrating Coating dries in 2-4 hours

For absorbent substrates, Ceresit CN 94 concentrate can be diluted 1:3 with water, while for non-absorbent surfaces such as wood materials or cast asphalt, undiluted coating is recommended. The drying time varies between 2 and 4 hours depending on the type of substrate, which allows for a quick workflow. After complete drying, the surface should be scratch resistant. If this is not the case, it is advisable to repeat the coating application within 24 hours.

How to use:
1. Surfaces primed with CERESIT CN 94 must be dry, load-bearing and free of adhesion-reducing substances: grease, bitumen, dust, etc. Any stains and layers with poor strength must be removed. This also applies to existing adhesive paints, which must be scraped off and washed off with water.
2. Shake the contents of CERESIT CN 94 several times. The concentrate must be diluted with water (mix 1 part CN 94 with 3 parts water). For non-absorbent surfaces derived from wood and cast asphalt screeds, CN 94 is used undiluted.
3. Apply a thin layer of CERESIT CN 94. Spread evenly with a brush, do not create puddles. Drying time is from 2 to 4 hours depending on the type of substrate. The surface must be scratch-resistant once fully cured. Otherwise, the primer must be repeated within 24 hours.
