Materials and sound
The wind chime's sound is created by six aluminium tubes, which are precision-tuned to produce a beautiful melody. Each tube has thick walls, contributing to the long-lasting resonance of the tones after each chime. The support disc, clapper, and windcatcher are all made from ash wood. This is treated with teak oil and has a mahogany finish that protects the wood and gives it a rich colour. The tubes are made from partially recycled aluminium.
