The lightweight and easy-to-handle DEWALT DCM561PBS-XJ string trimmer, with speeds of up to 6000 rpm, is a handy tool for mowing small to medium-sized lawns or for trimming grass around trees, bushes, kerbs, lawn edges and other hard-to-reach areas. The trimmer has two speed settings (0–4600 rpm and 0–6000 rpm), complemented by a variable speed trigger. You'll also appreciate the split aluminium shaft and the comfortable auxiliary handle with soft padding, which allows for comfortable two-handed operation. The trimmer is compatible with all 18V XR Li-Ion batteries. The manufacturer recommends using a battery with a minimum capacity of 5Ah. The battery and charger are not included.

Cutting head with semi-automatic line feed

Efficient grass cutting is ensured by a 330mm cutting head, which uses a twin-line system with 2mm diameter line. If the cutting line wears down and you need to extend it, simply tap the trimmer head lightly on the ground. This releases the internal mechanism and centrifugal force automatically extends the line. An integrated blade on the trimmer guard then trims the line to the optimal length. There is also a plastic guard for the cutting head, which protects the operator from flying debris while ensuring an optimal view of the lawn.

It is complemented by a front, height-adjustable handle with a soft rubber surface that effectively dampens vibrations and reduces fatigue during work. The trimmer has a shaft that splits into two parts, which makes it easy to transport and saves storage space.
