Dulux Trade Weathershield Silicon Plus 10 l, NCS S 6502-B

Dulux Trade Weathershield Silicon Plus silicone facade paint is designed for concrete and mineral plasters. It creates an opaque, matt, and water-repellent surface. Thanks to its microporous structure, the paint is vapour-permeable, which means it allows water vapour to escape from the masonry. It contains zinc pyrithione, which protects the facade against the growth of algae and moss, and is also resistant to UV radiation. The paint is applied in two coats with a brush, roller, or by spraying. Theoretical coverage is 16m²/L and the approximate drying time is 4 hours.

Application and protective properties

This facade paint features high durability. The coating not only protects the surface from UV radiation but also, thanks to its zinc pyrithione content, from the growth of algae and moss. Its class 2 rating indicates high resistance to wet scrub. The microporous film of the paint is vapour-permeable yet water-repellent, which helps to keep the facade dry. For best results, the paint is applied in two coats. You can apply it with a brush, roller, or by spraying. The paint does not require dilution before use.
