Dulux Trade Weathershield Silicon Plus 10L, NCS S 4005-B

Dulux Trade Weathershield Silicon Plus masonry paint, based on silicone resin, is designed for concrete and mineral plasters. It creates an opaque, matt, and vapour-permeable film that allows water vapour to escape from the masonry. At the same time, the surface is water-repellent and, thanks to its zinc pyrithione content, protects the facade against algae and moss growth. The paint is applied in two coats with a brush, roller, or spray gun. The theoretical coverage is up to 16m²/L, and the approximate drying time is 4 hours.

Protective properties of the paint

The paint creates a microporous film that is highly vapour-permeable yet water-repellent. This combination of properties helps to keep the masonry dry. The coating is resistant to weathering and UV radiation, which contributes to its stability. It contains the active ingredient zinc pyrithione, which protects the facade surface from algae and moss growth. The mechanical resistance of the coating falls into class 2, indicating good scrub resistance.
