Dulux Trade Weathershield Silicon Plus 10L, NCS S 4502-G

Dulux Trade Weathershield Silicon Plus silicone facade paint is designed for concrete and mineral plasters. It creates an opaque, matt, and microporous film that is both vapour-permeable and water-repellent. Thanks to its zinc pyrithione content, it protects the facade against algae and moss growth and resists UV radiation. The paint is applied in two coats with a brush, roller, or spray. Theoretical coverage is up to 16m²/L, and the approximate drying time is 4 hours.

Protective properties and use

This facade paint is designed for the protection and decoration of exterior surfaces. Its microporous structure lets masonry breathe by allowing water vapour to escape, while the water-repellent surface prevents water from penetrating from the outside. Protection against algae and moss is enhanced by the active ingredient zinc pyrithione. The coating is also resistant to UV radiation, which helps to maintain the facade's appearance. Its abrasion resistance falls into class 2, indicating good mechanical durability of the surface.
