Dulux Trade Weathershield Silicon Plus silicone facade paint is designed for concrete and mineral plasters. It creates an opaque, matt film that is microporous, allowing water vapour to escape from the masonry while also being water-repellent. It contains zinc pyrithione to protect the facade against algae and moss growth, and it is resistant to UV radiation. Apply in two coats with a brush, roller, or by spraying. It is water-dilutable. Theoretical coverage is up to 16m²/L and the approximate drying time is 4 hours.

Protective properties and use
This silicone resin-based facade paint creates a microporous film that is vapour-permeable yet water-repellent. The coating is resistant to weathering, including UV radiation. It contains the active ingredient zinc pyrithione, which protects the facade surface against the growth of algae and moss. The paint is suitable for new and previously painted mineral plasters and concrete surfaces. Its abrasion resistance corresponds to class 2.
