Dulux Trade Weathershield Silicon Plus 2.5L, NCS S 6502-G

Dulux Trade Weathershield Silicon Plus masonry paint, based on silicone resin, is designed for concrete and mineral plasters. It creates an opaque, matt, and vapour-permeable film that also repels water. It contains zinc pyrithione, which protects the facade against algae and moss growth, and it is resistant to UV radiation. The paint is applied in two coats with a brush, roller, or by spraying. Its theoretical coverage is 16m²/L and it has an approximate drying time of 4 hours.

Protective properties and finish

This masonry paint creates a microporous film that is both vapour-permeable and water-repellent. The surface allows water vapour to escape from the masonry while preventing external moisture from penetrating. The zinc pyrithione content protects the coating against the growth of algae and moss. The paint is also resistant to UV radiation and mechanical wear, as evidenced by its Class 2 abrasion resistance rating. It leaves a uniform matt finish once dry.
