Dulux Trade Weathershield Silicon Plus 5 l, NCS S 6502-B

Dulux Trade Weathershield Silicon Plus silicone facade paint is designed for concrete and mineral plasters. It creates an opaque, matt, and vapour-permeable film that allows water vapour to escape from the masonry while also being water-repellent. It contains zinc pyrithione, which protects against the growth of algae and moss. Apply with a brush, roller, or by spraying. Two coats are recommended. Theoretical coverage is up to 16m²/L and the approximate drying time is 4 hours.

Durability and protective properties

The paint is based on a silicone resin, which gives the coating its key protective properties. The film is microporous, allowing the masonry to breathe and release water vapour. The surface is also water-repellent, protecting the facade from rainwater penetration. The active ingredient, zinc pyrithione, inhibits the growth of algae and moss on the paint's surface. The paint withstands weathering, including UV radiation, and meets class 2 wet scrub resistance.
