Dulux Trade Weathershield Silicon Plus silicone facade paint is designed for exterior plaster, concrete, and mineral substrates. It creates an opaque, matt, and vapour-permeable film that allows water vapour to escape from the masonry while repelling water from the surface. It contains zinc pyrithione, which protects the facade against the growth of algae and moss. Apply with a brush, roller, or spray in two coats. Its theoretical coverage is 16m²/L and the approximate drying time is 4 hours.

Protective properties
The paint creates a microporous film that allows the masonry to breathe. At the same time, it is water-repellent, which limits moisture penetration into the substrate. The added active ingredient, zinc pyrithione, protects the facade against the growth of algae and moss. The paint is also UV-resistant. The mechanical durability of the surface is proven by its Class 2 scrub resistance rating.
