Dulux Trade Weathershield Silicon Plus 5L, NCS S 7005-B

Dulux Trade Weathershield Silicon Plus silicone facade paint is designed for concrete and mineral plasters. It creates an opaque, matt and microporous film that is vapour-permeable and water-repellent. It contains zinc pyrithione, which protects the facade against algae and moss growth, and is resistant to UV radiation. The paint is applied in two coats by spraying, brushing or rolling and is not diluted for application. Theoretical coverage is 16m²/L and the surface dries in approximately 4 hours.

Protective properties and composition

This paint is based on a silicone resin, which gives it high durability. The microporous structure of the coating allows water vapour to escape from the masonry. The surface is also water-repellent and protects against the penetration of rainwater. Class 2 scrub resistance indicates good mechanical resistance of the film. The paint contains the active ingredient zinc pyrithione, which protects the surface from algae and moss, and is resistant to UV radiation.
