Basic features of the PHA7404E Cordless Soil Drill Drive Unit

The drive unit of the EGO PHA7400E soil drill is equipped with an ergonomically designed control handle with variable drill speed control with switchable 2 speed modes and reverse selector. The machine is equipped with an Anti-Kickback system (electronic and gyroscopic protection) in combination with the Soft Stop system, which ensures the safety of the operator in case of blocking of the drill in the ground. Quick-Connect drill bits are designed from high strength steel with a seamless steel tube. This ensures excellent balance and strength of the instrument. Thanks to the possibility to disconnect the drive unit from the drilling tool, it is also undeniably more compact for transport and storage. The machine is very compact, very manoeuvrable and safe to use. Any battery from the EGO range can be used to power the machine, e.g. with a 2.5Ah battery you can drill up to 30 holes in the ground or 30m in the ice. Our EGO Power+ 56V Arc lithium batteries provide you with enough energy to power a powerful and efficient multi-pole carbon-free motor with 74Nm of torque. If the standard drill length is not sufficient, a 50cm extension can be used. The machine is extremely quiet for quiet work in the open air.
