The Ermenrich Reel PLUS GS40 Laser Measurer is a versatile tool for repair and construction work, which is compact and practical thanks to its simple operation and many useful functions. The instrument enables accurate distance measurements, even in difficult conditions. when it is not possible to direct the laser to the desired point in a straight line. For such measurements, the Pythagorean theorem function is used to calculate the distance using indirect measurements. Calculation of the area and volume of rooms and objects, addition and subtraction functions, single measurements or continuous scanning. Data is displayed on the screen in meters, feet or inches. Up to 20 groups of measurement results can be stored in the instrument's memory. The meter is powered by standard AAA batteries. One set of batteries lasts on average for 5,000 measurements. An auto shut-off feature helps save battery power and a low battery indicator lets you know when batteries need to be replaced.
