H2O COOL Ph Plus is designed to increase the pH of pool water . The ideal pH value when using chlorine-free and chlorine water disinfection is 7.0-7.4. If the pH leaves this defined range, the effectiveness is reduced and the consumption of disinfectants increases. At low pH (pH < 7.2) corrode the metal parts of the pool and whirlpools and the colours of plastics and foils in the pool and whirlpool fade faster. At high pH (> 7.6) water becomes cloudy and algae form. Conjunctival and skin irritation may also occur.
