The HECHT 1289 Cordless Impact Driver is a powerful tool designed for the toughest working conditions. It is equipped with a modern carbonless engine that provides higher performance, efficiency and longer life than conventional engines. It is part of the HECHT 1278 Accu Programme, so it is fully compatible with batteries of the same series. The drill offers a torque setting of 16+3, 2-speed gearbox, maximum torque up to 50 Nm and a powerful impact hammer with a frequency of up to 25,500 blows per minute. No-load speeds reach up to 1,700 rpm in second gear. Thanks to the quick-release metal chuck (2-13 mm), changing tools is quick and convenient.

What is the ACCU 1278 program and what are its benefits
There are many advantages to battery-powered machines. The electric motor is quiet, does not produce any odorous and toxic fumes. Compared to an internal combustion engine, you don't have to start the engine, perform regular maintenance, change oil and air filters. An electric motor is more reliable than a rather complicated internal combustion engine. However, the main disadvantage of a conventional electric machine is the need for a power cord. There's also a handy belt clip for hanging from your belt, which you'll appreciate when working at heights or moving around a lot. An LED indicator directly on the tool informs you of the current battery level, and for working in darker areas, a powerful LED light is located at the bottom to illuminate the work area.
