The Intex replacement filter for cartridge filtration type B is made of high quality dacron, which is a filter material used for home pools and hot tubs. It is abrasion-resistant, wrinkle-resistant and has low absorbency to prevent water retention inside the filter. The Intex filter is densely pleated to increase its suction area and thus more easily traps debris. It is easy to maintain by simply removing the larger trapped dirt and the rest can be removed by rinsing under a stream of clean water.
