The dual-port DC18RD charger (Li-ion 7.2 / 14.4 / 18V) is capable of charging two 18V Makita batteries at the same time. The built-in processor gathers information from the batteries' memory chip to determine the optimal charging method, while a fan cools the inside of the battery to minimise charging time. The Makita DC18RD charger will notify you with an audible signal when charging is complete.
