MASTERsil Alkalinity 1 kg

MASTERsil Alkalinity is used to increase the alkalinity of water and thus stabilize the pH. This helps to reduce the consumption of pH adjustment products and increases the effectiveness of disinfectants. It is used in both chlorine and oxygen water treatment.

Instructions for use:
Dosage: The optimum alkalinity value is 80-120 mg/l (ppm) and the ideal pH value is 6.8-7.4. To increase alkalinity by 10 mg, add 15-20 g of the product per 1m3 of water (depending on its hardness). Increase the alkalinity carefully, as it is difficult to reduce it again (it can be achieved by lowering the pH to about 4, ideally by using hydrochloric acid). In practice, however, it is better to choose dilution with new water. Measurements and dosing should be carried out especially at the beginning of the season, when filling new water. The appropriate amount of the product can also be poured directly into the water along the walls of the pool or dissolved in a bucket of water and poured evenly into the pool with the filtration device switched on.
Storage:
24 months from the date of manufacture when stored in the original packaging and under proper storage conditions.
