MDS Soil pH Tester, green

The MDS pH tester is a practical tool for indicative monitoring of soil moisture, pH level and light intensity. Airontek's meter provides an indicative measurement of three key factors for healthy plant growth: soil moisture, pH level and light conditions. It features two 27cm needle probes that measure humidity and pH, while a sensor on the body of the device measures light intensity up to 2000 lux. The instrument is designed for use in soil and substrates, it is not suitable for measurements in liquids. No batteries are required for its use, ensuring long-term reliability.

Use

Set the slider to the moisture measurement position (MOIST) and place the metal tip of the meter in the ground (5 to 10 cm). Operation should be carried out very gently to avoid damaging the meter and the roots of the plant. After a while, read the value on the scale of the instrument and compare the readings with the recommended soil moisture level for the plant.

How to read

Solarity:
0 to 2000 lux (0-200 low, 1000-2000 high sunlight).
Soil acidity:
pH - from 3.5 to 8 pH (from 3.5 to 6.5 acidic soil, 7 neutral, 7-8 alkaline soil).
Soil moisture:
humidity from 1 to 10 (1-3 dry, 4-7 neutral, 8-10 moist).

Note:
The meter will not work in very dry soil. Do not immerse the meter directly in water or chemical solutions. Immediately after measuring, wipe the meter sensor thoroughly with a cloth or paper towel. Plants should only be watered when the meter reading is lower than recommended. When adjusting the soil pH, use all fertilisers based on the measurement results.
