Plantbee Peat Rod Starter Kit

The 60cm starter set is designed to support climbing houseplants, such as monstera or philodendron. The sphagnum moss pole supports the attachment of aerial roots, stimulating the growth of larger leaves. Its modular design lets you extend it gradually as your plant grows. The entire system is 3D-printed in the Czech Republic from cornstarch-based PLA bioplastic. You will need approximately 20–30g of sphagnum moss to fill it.

Modular system for growing plants

The Plantbee sphagnum moss pole serves as a natural support for climbing houseplants that climb up tree trunks in the wild. The open structure of the pole, filled with sphagnum moss, encourages aerial roots to attach, providing stability and stimulating the plant to grow larger leaves. The starter set has a total height of 60cm. As soon as your plant outgrows it, simply attach another section to the top to extend the support. You can also expand the system with a dripper or a stabilizing base at the bottom of the pot.

Czech production

The entire set is made from PLA, which is derived from cornstarch. Production takes place in the Czech Republic using 3D printing technology. The pole has a diameter of 45mm. The starter pack contains two 24cm sections, an anchor base for securing it in the soil, and a top crown to cap off the system.
