PPG Primalex thin-layer varnish 3in1 pine wood, 5 l

Primalex thin-layer 3-in-1 wood stain is designed for protective and decorative coatings on outdoor wooden surfaces, such as fences, pergolas, cladding, windows, and doors. It combines impregnation, primer, and top coat in one, eliminating the need for multiple separate products. The solvent-based formula absorbs deep into the wood structure to protect the wood from UV radiation, mould, rot, and pests. Once dry, it leaves a matte finish in a pine shade that does not crack or peel. You can easily apply the stain using a brush.

Application and maintenance

Apply the stain to a clean, dry surface, free of dirt and old coatings. For best results, apply two coats. The drying time before applying the next coat is approximately 12 hours. One litre treats roughly 15m² of surface in a single coat, but actual coverage depends on the absorption and type of wood. When maintaining the surface in the future, you do not need to sand the original coat.
