Flocculant Blue is a concentrated liquid pool chemical used to remove turbidity from pool water. It forms flakes in the pool water that bind the turbidity of the pool water. First, the pH value should be checked, which should be between 6.8 and 7.2. This pH value range guarantees the optimum effect of the flocculator (pH value can be adjusted using pH plus or pH minus products). Subsequent application of the flocculator is very easy - it is sufficient to measure out the calculated dose of the product and after dilution, in a plastic container in approximately 3 to 5 l of water, apply the flocculator solution evenly over the entire pool surface with the filtration on. The recommended dosage of the flocculator is chosen with regard to the normal pollution of the pool water. When applying the flocculator to more polluted pool water, the dosage can be increased due to the formation of an excess of flakes, which then well eliminate the increased turbidity of the pool water. The flocculator makes it relatively easy to remove turbidity from the pool water, as the flakes formed by the flocculator are very well separated by filtration. Another option is to let the resulting flakes settle on the pool bottom after the dirt has been adsorbed and then suck them out, either through the pool filter or directly into the waste. In addition to removing turbidity, the flocculator also removes some of the organic matter that swimmers introduce into the pool water. In addition, it also removes a number of other compounds that promote algae growth and gives the pool water an azure tint.

Improved effect through combination with other products

In conjunction with the application of Flocculator Blue, it is advisable to use a Turbidity Remover which helps to clump the flocs into larger units which are then much easier to remove from the pool water. This product is applied directly into the skimmer to gradually release and subsequently trap the flakes on the filter.
