PWS Pool Winterizer Gold 3 l

Winterizer Gold is a special product for winterizing swimming pools and pool water with a high content of calcium and magnesium. The pool should be winterized when the water temperature drops to 15 °C. It is applied at a rate of 500 ml of Gold Sealer per 10,000 l of pool water. Winterizing a pool with the Winterizer is relatively easy and simple.

Procedure for winterizing the pool

Dosing:
For 10,000 litres of pool water, the dosage starts from 500 ml of Gold.
Pool control:
Before actually winterizing the pool, it is first necessary to inspect the pool walls and bottom to make sure that no biofilms or encrustations have formed and that the water does not contain visible floating debris or that its transparency or turbidity is not impaired by the presence of unwanted algae. If algae is already present or debris has appeared and is noticeable, apply proven pool chemistry products to remove it as you have been accustomed to during the swimming season and then leave the pool filtration running for a few hours until the water is visibly clearer and clarity is improved.
Check basic parameters:
PH value and active chlorine content - the optimum pH range is 6.8 to 7.5 and the concentration of active chlorine should be above 1 mg/l or oxygen.
It is also necessary to check the temperature of the pool water, which should definitely not exceed 15 °C for proper winterization of the pool. The optimum water temperature for winterizing the pool is 10 °C.
Reducing the level:
If all of the above conditions are met, proceed by lowering the pool water level in the pool so that it reaches below the skimmer or jets.
Pool winterization and application:
The product should be diluted in a ratio of approx. 1:5 to 1:10 with water before using it to winterize the pool and then spread evenly along the pool walls (you will not make a mistake by diluting the product more).
Mixing the preparation:
After application to the pool, mix the Zazimator by hand so that the active ingredients of the Zazimator penetrate the entire volume of pool water. Using the container you used to apply the Winterizer, scoop up the pool water repeatedly and spill it back onto the pool surface to mix the pool winterizer.
Level security:
Place special deformation blocks or at least PET bottles partially filled with water on the surface to protect the pool walls from frost damage at low temperatures.
Pool cover:
Cover the pool with a protective cover and fasten it well to prevent it from being damaged and loosened in wind or rain.
