RACER DIP Ultra synthetic matt black spray paint is primarily designed for refurbishing car wheels, but can also be used on a wide range of other materials. Suitable for metal, plastic, wood, concrete and other surfaces, both indoors and outdoors. The paint does not run and forms a protective top coat once dry, which is resistant to UV radiation, chemicals and corrosion. Racer Dip is an advanced peelable paint system that combines the aesthetics of a professional paint finish with the flexibility of temporary changes. The product has been developed to form, once cured, a continuous, highly durable layer of synthetic rubber with a deep black finish.

Functional properties of peelable paint
Ultra Black is the most popular shade for concealing chrome trim, badges and accessories. To achieve a perfect finish on fine details, it is recommended that you apply several thin coats rather than one thick one, This will ensure a smooth, texture-free surface and allow it to peel away easily from the surrounding rubber seals.

Technological process:
Thanks to its unique formulation, this peelable paint has excellent self-levelling properties. For best results, the manufacturer recommends:
1. Surface decontamination: The surface must be thoroughly free of grease, wax and dirt. The manufacturer recommends using isopropyl alcohol, which will prepare the surface perfectly and ensure 100% paint adhesion.
2. The layering process: Apply 4 to 6 coats of Ultra Black. The first coat acts as a primer (a light dusting); each subsequent coat builds up the colour intensity and thickness of the material.
3. Curing: After 24 hours, the surface acquires its final mechanical properties and is ready for normal use.
Recommendations and maintenance:
The manufacturer recommends isopropyl alcohol, which is the safest and most effective way to remove all grease without leaving any residue that could cause the paint to peel at the edges. Ultra Black will not damage chrome trim or the original paintwork. Racer Dip is completely inert with respect to the substrate materials. Once dry, a flexible rubber barrier remains between the varnish and the paint. Once peeled off, the surface will remain exactly as it was before application. You can wash your car as normal in touchless car washes (using a pressure washer) from a distance of approximately 30 cm. Just avoid products containing solvents or strong acids.
Removing paint:
If you follow the recommended number of coats (min. 5) A film that is thick enough is formed; when removed, it stays intact and can be easily peeled off like a large sticker.
Recommended number of sprays for a full coat on 4 wheel rims:
For wheels up to size R17, 3 to 4 sprays are recommended. For R18 and larger sizes, apply 4 to 5 sprays to ensure the resulting layer is thick enough to allow for easy removal later on.
