Rust-Oleum Adhesion primer for smooth non-porous floors, white

Rust-Oleum Adhesion primer for smooth non-porous floors, white
Rust-Oleum adhesion primer for smooth non-porous floors is a water-based epoxy primer for use on smooth floors such as concrete and tiles. Super Adhesion 3333 should be used on non-porous, dense mineral substrates like tiles or power-floated concrete; non-ferrous metals such as stainless steel, aluminium or new hot-dip galvanised steel; and thermoset plastics, polyester or glass-fibre reinforced epoxy. It withstands light to moderate abrasion, occasional high humidity, regular chemical cleaning, and chemical spills when overcoated with a suitable RUST-OLEUM system. It can be overcoated with practically all RUST-OLEUM epoxy, polyurethane, vinyl and acrylic paints. Classified for surface spread of flame according to BS 476, Part 7: 1987.
Key features of the Rust-Oleum adhesion primer for smooth non-porous floors, white
- Water-based epoxy primer
- Excellent adhesion on smooth and non-porous substrates
- Perfect chemical adhesion without blasting or etching
- Low material consumption – genuine cost savings
- Can be overcoated with practically any other 2K paint
- Water-based with a low odour
- Excellent flow
Surface preparation:
Remove grease, oil and all other surface contaminants with RUST-OLEUM FK 111 cleaning solution or by alkaline or high-pressure (steam) cleaning. New concrete should be fully cured and dry for at least 30 days before coating.
The surface must be clean and can be slightly damp during application.
Instructions for use:
Stir individual components thoroughly before mixing. Use a low-speed mixer.
Application conditions:
Air and product temperature between 10 and 35°C and relative humidity below 70%.
The substrate temperature must be at least 5°C above the dew point.
Application and thinning: brush:
Always dilute with 20% water by volume. Use brushes made from a blend of synthetic and natural fibres. Check the wet film thickness; avoid excessive film thickness. Preferably, use disposable brushes.
Application and thinning:
Roller: Always dilute with 20% water by volume. Use an HD foam roller. Check the wet film thickness; avoid excessive film thickness. Preferably, use disposable rollers.
Air spray: Dilute with water up to 20% by volume. Nozzle: 1.2–2.0mm. Pressure: 2–4 bar. Check the wet film thickness; avoid excessive film thickness.
Cleaning of tools and any spills:
Immediately after application with (hot) water and soap.
