SIKA Primer 210, 250 ml

SIKA Primer 210 is a colourless to slightly yellow solvent-based primer. It reacts with moisture to form a thin layer that acts as a link between substrates and adhesives. It prepares bonding surfaces before the application of 1-component Sika polyurethanes. It improves adhesion on metals such as aluminium, steel and non-ferrous metals. You can also use it to increase the adhesion of Sikasil sealants and adhesives. SIKA Primer 210 is suitable for professional use. Carry out adhesion and material compatibility tests with actual substrates and conditions before application.

Application:
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil, dust and contaminants. Adhesion to substrates can be improved by adding and/or combining pre-treatment processes such as abrading, cleaning and activating before primer application. Apply a thin but fully covering coat of Sika Primer-210 with a brush, felt, lint-free cloth or foam applicator. Sika Primer-210 exhibits thermoplastic behaviour for up to 3 days after application, so avoid higher temperatures or premature stress on the joint. Ideal application and surface temperature is between 15 and 25°C. Apply Sika Primer-210 only once. Ensure that this single application provides sufficient coverage. Consumption and application method depend on the specific nature of the substrates. Tightly close the container immediately after each use.
