The basic idea of the original Kraftform handle shape - the hand should determine the shape of the handle - is still proving correct today. Together with the world-renowned Fraunhofer-Institut für Arbeitswirtschaft und Organisation, Wera developed a screwdriver handle in the 1960s that is adapted to the shape of the human hand. After much development work, the Wera Kraftform handle was launched in 1968. Until now, this handle has been optimised with new technologies, but has retained its proven shape.
