Principle of the game On the hunt
Unlike the TV competition, the board game is played in two teams, both facing one hunter. The goal is to raise as much money as possible for your team. The board game On the Hunt consists of three rounds. Hunters do not participate in the first round. In the first round, contestants answer open-ended questions one by one and try to get as many prize tokens as possible within the time limit. In the second round, they take turns answering the same three-choice question as the hunter and try to escape his clutches. In the final chase, all players play first as a team and then the hunter. Unlike the televised competition, the third round includes players who are caught by the hunter in the second round. The final chase is played on time - players and hunter have 2 hours to answer questions. The contestants all work together to answer open-ended questions in an attempt to collect as many correct answers as possible within the time limit, as that is how many correct answers the hunter must subsequently get to beat them. For each correct answer, the contestants move their chip forward 1 space on the counter. Once the hourglass sands are shifted for the second time, the round of competitors ends. Then the hunter plays. He places his chip in the "0" box on the final stack counter. One of the contestants reads the questions to the hunters. The hunter determines the number of questions to be read to him. Then he turns the hourglass. If the hunter answers the question correctly, he moves his chip forward 2 spaces and the contestant immediately draws another card and asks another question. But if he answers wrong or doesn't know the right answer, put the clock on its side. The other contestants have one attempt to hit the correct answer. If they succeed, they move the Hunter token back 1 space on the counter. The hunter must not get into a minus. Then rebuild the clock and continue the game by drawing another card and asking another question. If the hunter manages to catch up or overtake the competitors' chip before the second reshuffle of the clock, the hunter wins. If he fails, the contestant wins.
