COREL Goldene Yacht 1678 1:50 kit

The kit of the non-floating model COREL Goldene Yacht in 1:50 scale from 1700 was built in 1679 by the Peckelhering shipyard in Kolberg as a yacht of Prince William III. The yacht was armed with 8 guns and a crew of 12 men. Included in the package are wooden parts, battens and a number of fittings, rigging, canvas for sails, plans, etc. Very little is known about the use of the Goldene Jacht in the Brandenburg War Fleet. She was in the port of Pillou, later in the 1700s in Berlin, and then located in Emden, where she was eventually scrapped.

Brand Corel

Italian Corel kits are one of the most famous wooden ship kits. Corel wooden models of non-floating ships are popular among ship modelers mainly because of the quality of workmanship, high content of details and pre-processed accessories. The wooden parts are cleanly cut on CNC machines or by laser and the kit has a high detail content. The Coler kits include complete documentation for the construction. The kit does not contain glues, paints, varnishes, tools and necessary modeling equipment - this is a matter for every builder.

Recommended equipment for building the model

It is recommended to buy tools, glue and paint for the construction. We recommend the Modelcraft Ship Modeler Tool Set (12 piece set) or the Modelcraft Modeler Tool Set (18 piece set). It is also recommended to purchase nylon clamps and indispensable modeling pins. For finishing, precision cutting, gluing of parts and also as a protection of the table it is recommended to use a modelling mat. For bonding, universal dispersion adhesive and Robitronic medium instant adhesive (20 ml) are recommended. For painting acrylic enamel paints. The paints are applied with quality brushes - flat brushes for larger areas and round brushes for details.
