Dixit 2nd Expansion (Quest)

Key features of the 2nd expansion of the card game Dixit Quest

What the extension is about

The 2nd Quest expansion brings new dimensions of imagination and creativity to the world of Dixit. Adds 84 new cards with original illustrations that can be used on their own or shuffled into the base game. The cards bring a varied mix of surreal, fantasy and everyday motifs, involving fairy tale characters, natural scenery, abstract concepts, cosmic scenes and symbolic images, which, with their dreamy and poetic atmosphere, stimulate the imagination and offer a rich source of inspiration for creating stories and associations. The principle of the game remains the same - one player in the role of Storyteller chooses a card and associates a concept, sentence or sound to it. The other players try to guess which card belongs to the Teller, while confusing their opponents with their own cards.

Meet the illustrator

The illustrations are by the French artist Marie Cardouat. Her unmistakable style, full of dreamy and fantastical themes, perfectly captures the essence of Dixit. Cardouat rose to fame thanks to her illustrations for the original Dixit and has since contributed to many other successful games. Her illustrations are very detailed and use a wide range of colours. Each card represents a unique scene or concept that can evoke different associations and interpretations.
