Dune, the name of a place that evokes a feeling of loneliness. Much of the planet is covered by deserts with massive rocky ridges. Beneath the omnipresent sand live giant, quarter-mile-long worms, attacking anyone who steps on the sand. Human life exists here in only a few scattered places with pools of precious water. But even these settlements are not spared the terrifying coriolis storms. Despite all the obstacles, this planet is extremely important for the fate of the entire Galactic Empire, because only on Dune is harvested the spice melange, the key to interstellar travel and the geriatric medicine that prolongs life. In Dune, you'll take on one of four powerful factions - House Atreides, House Harkonnen, House Fremen or the Empire. They are all vying for dominance over the most precious commodity in the universe, spices. You will be sending your ships to this planet, occupying fortresses, destroying enemies and above all mining the spice. Who will ultimately control Dune? That's for you to decide.
Each genus hides its own characteristics and secrets
The different genera are completely different from each other. It is this asymmetry and balance between the immense power of the Harkonnens, the ability of the Bene Gesserit witches to predict the future and the home advantage of the Fremen family that makes your new family so quickly and perfectly relatable. Despite these differences, there are still many variables in play. There are sand worms on the prowl, random storms, wheels of power, to select the number of units, the skills of individual commanders, strong cards and unexpected reactions. It all adds up to a rather opaque mix of unpredictable chance and reliance on luck,enriching the game with traces of tension and situations that cannot be prepared for in advance.
Up to five rounds of duels, tension and strategy
The game takes place over several rounds. Starting with the third round, the game can end when three strongholds are occupied by one player. However, if this does not happen even by the end of the fifth round, the player with the most spices wins.
