An unusual task in the dark history of Kutná Hora
The Sedlec Ossuary board game takes you to the beginning of the 16th century in Kutná Hora, where plague and the Hussite Wars have filled the cemetery to bursting point. In the role of an assistant to a half-blind monk, you take on an unusual task: to arrange skulls into pyramids in the chapel. You gradually dig them up from the cemetery, stack them into your pyramid, and try to accommodate the wishes of the deceased, who have their own ideas about who they do or do not want to be next to.

A fast-paced combination game
This is a fast-paced combination game in a compact package, inspired by Czech history. Despite the small number of components, it offers a surprisingly large number of gameplay options and forces players to think about every move. The base of the Sedlec Ossuary game is a pocket-sized mini-game consisting of 18 cards, which relies on clever stacking and combining.
More expansions, more gameplay options in Sedlec Ossuary
The Extended Edition of Sedlec Ossuary also includes six different expansions: Executioners, Poets, Champions, Merchants, Troubadours, and Archers, as well as the small Jesters expansion. The individual expansions can be freely combined, and it is recommended to always play with one or two. This creates a large number of variations, and each game brings new possibilities, challenges, and experiences, including a variant for 4 to 5 players.
